There are many naked women on the streets of Hamburg. They have very nice figures, they are decorative, sexy, obedient and don´t have genitals. I question the practise of six german, male sculptors between late 19th and late 20th century, who did not get the anatomy right or chose to leave out the Vulva. I also question male politicians for buying those sculptures and putting them on public display: What is their message for the women of Hamburg? By putting my softornaments on them or guerrilla-cooperating with them (as I call it) I add a contemporary layer onto them and shift the focus of passengers. I feel like giving them (and myself identifying as a women) dignity and hope.
